Getting Started

Well, by the looks of it, there haven't been things of much concern to Fran.  Will try to do better.  But, really, where does the time go?

Have been getting back into sculpting with polymer clay after twenty years, or so.  I'll post some pictures and hope to learn along the way.

These pieces were done with Premo.  A great product for crafts, but not good in this application.  It didn't hold the detail, and was hard to smooth.  After curing the color was uneven.  I decided to paint the exposed parts.  I'm not happy with the result.  This is my first try with Genesis paints, costuming and hair.  I was trying to capture the laughter of small children.  I have a way to go.

I've found some really great information here in the cyber-world.  I'll try to provide links, when possible, if only for me.

  2. Thank you for the invitation to your Blog. Your work is beautiful, and so detailed. And your blog is really well done. It seems there's a great deal for me to practice.

  3. Fran,
    Keep sculpting, and keep 'blogging'....
I find that daily journaling is very helpful, indeed.
If nothing else, you focus on what you want to do.
Start a project, or several, and keep a journal
on each project's progress. This is also recommended
    by Martha Armstrong-Hand.
